I think you’ll agree it was the best way to cool down on a roasting hot day.

We meet down at Artist Corner at 6:00pm and are usually getting off the water around 7:30 ~ 8:00pm.

Do make sure you have your boat, paddle and kit booked with Pat and be up at the Farm to load this up. You’ll need to be there at 5:15 ~ 5:30pm. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS OR YOU’LL NOT GET TO PADDLE.

The proposed river trip down the River Aire (Riddlesden to Salts Mill, Bradford) is now going to be on Saturday 18th February 2012. Let John know if you would like to go and book your boat with Auntie Pat in good time. Below are the names of the members who have booked up with John already. 2* candidates this would be a good training trip in addition to being fun!

The trip by car is about a 2 hour journey to the start. Last time it was 4 hours on the river. There are 4 weirs, which are all portageable and it is open to all abilities. It will require a 0800 am meet at the farm to ensure we have enough light in the afternoon.

The trip is open to all ability members of the Club.
Event fee £1:00 for paid up members & £2:00 for non-members. Equipment loan £3:00.

Transport fee to be arranged with your driver.
